THE CO-OP DON'T SEEM TO DEAL WITH TAG&TRACK ANYMORE?

Some travel agents including Thomas Cook and Co-operative Travel used to offer Tag & Track but no longer do so. Fortunately, we are able to deal with these customers directly.  If you need to renew or replace tags, or have changed you contact details just let us know. We are happy to help you.

HOW DOES TAG&TRACK WORK?

In the event you lose property that has a TAG&TRACK tag or identity sticker on it, we will liaise with lost property offices, baggage handling agents, airlines, airport security, rail, police and many others.  We make all necessary phone calls on your behalf to locate and identify your lost belongings. During the recovery process we will aim to update as we go along. Once your lost items are found we will contact you with the details of their location and arrange for you to collect them or arrangements will be made with the airline courier company for delivery back to you.

CAN OTHER MEMBERS OF MY FAMILY USE THE TAG&TRACK SERVICE?

Yes.TAG&TRACK can be used by the whole family. We advise you to label your personal items with the TAG&TRACK tags and stickers as soon as possible including; Keys, schoolbags, backpacks, briefcases, mobile phones, laptops, ipods and tablets.  When travelling abroad don’t forget to tag your luggage, carry on items, golfbags, pushchairs and buggies.  Remember, if it’s not tagged we can’t help you.  Let us know if you wish to add a different mobile phone number.

HOW LONG IS MY TAG&TRACK SERVICE VALID FOR?

Your TAG&TRACK subscription is valid for 12 months and can be used in the UK and abroad 365 days a year.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY TAGS HAVE BEEN LOST OR DAMAGED?

TAG&TRACK tags are extremely durable and have been tried and tested to withstand heavy handling. We are not able to replace any single element of your kit, so in the event that your tags become damaged, please email us info@tagandtrack.com with your current tag number. Provided your subscription is up-to-date, we will send you a replacement kit at no charge. The new kit will have a different Tag number, but both will be registered to you and expire concurrently.

Please note that you can also upgrade to Tag & Track Plus when renewing, the total cost will be £17.95.

WILL YOU REMIND ME THAT MY ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP IS ABOUT TO RUN OUT?

Yes. If we have your email address we will email you around two weeks prior to the expiry day. If you're concerned about whether your TAG number has in fact already expired the best option is to visit our website and send us a question, email to info@tagandtrack.com or call us by phone!

  

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO RENEW MY TAG&TRACK PACK?

The cost of renewing the TAG&TRACK service for another 12 months is currently £12.95.

 

HOW ARE MY LOST POSSESSIONS RETURNED TO ME?

We track down your items and try to get them back to you with the minimum of fuss and as quickly as possible. This could be as quickly as calling you whilst you are shopping to say you have left your iPad at a cafe 10 minutes ago.  We can arrange for the finder to leave them at a convenient location for you to collect them, or if you wish to have your lost belongings returned to you by courier.  Please note that courier charges or postage costs are not covered by Tag & Track.

WHEN TRAVELLING BY AIR/AIRPORT

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE RETURN OF MY LOST/DELAYED LUGGAGE?

Where lost/delayed items have been delayed by the airline, there is generally no cost to yourself for the return of the items.  Please contact your airline directly for more information on their individual policies. Once your luggage has been found we will liaise with the airline to arrange the return of your lost items. However, in the event that you forgot to collect your item from the luggage carousel or picked up the wrong piece of luggage, you would be responsible for any costs incurred for the return of those items.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I PICK UP THE WRONG SUITCASE AT THE AIRPORT?

This is not classed as lost or misplaced luggage and therefore you are responsible for the return of the item to the airport and will have to pay any travel/delivery costs incurred to do this.

 

DOES TAG&TRACK GUARANTEE THAT I WILL GET MY LOST PROPERTY RETURNED TO ME?

TAG&TRACK cannot guarantee that your lost property will be found or returned as the item could have been stolen.  However we will do all that we can to help locate your lost property and in the majority of situations lost property is found and returned to its rightful owner.

DO I STILL NEED TO PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE?

Yes. You are advised to take out travel insurance whenever you travel.

This service is no longer being offered with the Tag & Track kits. Any data previously held by us is being deleted and will no longer be offered to any third parties.
